On Saturday morning, a crew came together to revitalize our long parking strip planting area. The work party included volunteers from Southwood staff, students, PTO, and ESD grounds. Every person played an essential part in pulling it off. And a big thank you to GE & B nursery for donating the plants, and service donations from Westward Hoe Construction for removing old shrubs!

Spring has sprung at Southwood!! And Mrs. Coleman has chicks!

It was so special watching the kids ask each other about their projects and seeing them be so interested in what the other had to say! And what a great turnout last night from the families! Tomorrow is the last day for food drive donations and we're almost at our goal!!Don't forget that the two classes that collect the most get an ice cream party!
